The situation on the border between Israel and Lebanon continues to escalate, while the Israeli army has issued an urgent warning to residents in southern Lebanon, amid continued airstrikes.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Avichay Adraee stated that Hezbollah's presence and activity in the area is forcing the Israeli army to take military action, emphasizing that civilians are not the target.
"We reiterate and call on you to immediately leave your homes and head north of the Zahrani River. Anyone who is near Hezbollah elements, their facilities, or their combat vehicles is exposing their lives to danger," he wrote.
On the other hand, the Iran-backed Hezbollah group announced that it had launched rocket attacks on northern Israel during the morning.
In a statement published on Telegram, the group announced that it had targeted several areas, including Kiryat Shmona, Kfar Giladi, Misgav Am and Margaliot, near the border with Lebanon.
"This reaction will continue until the Israeli-American aggression against our country and people stops ," Hezbollah said in a statement.
