European leaders who are part of the so-called "coalition of the willing" have issued a joint statement after a virtual meeting ahead of tomorrow's meeting in the US.
At the meeting chaired by Macron and Sir Keir, European leaders “reaffirmed their continued support for Ukraine” and “praised President Zelenskyy’s desire for a just and lasting peace.”
They reiterated their readiness to deploy a security force once hostilities have ceased, as well as to help secure Ukraine's skies and seas and regenerate Ukraine's armed forces.
"The leaders also commended President Trump's commitment to providing security guarantees to Ukraine, in which the Coalition of the Willing will play a vital role through the Multinational Force Ukraine, among other measures," the statement said.
