"Our country is in danger", Vučić addresses the nation: A gang rules

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has addressed the nation after violent protests erupted in several cities.

According to Serbian media, he said today that the country is in great danger. "They threatened our democracy and every human being, this is against every normal human being in the country. The gang rules the streets," Vučić said during his speech at the Palace of Serbia.

He spoke first about the "terrible" events in Valjevo, the "equally terrible" events in Novi Sad, and the "slightly less terrifying" events in Belgrade.

" It's a little strange that there was no talk of justice when 16 people were burned in various fires in Novi Sad, when it was the direct fault of the leaders. Why didn't we hear it when it happened in North Macedonia? Why did we hear it in Serbia? Because it was used as ammunition in the fight against an independent and free country. We heard from our children, our students. I heard it too. Even though we are not very sure what exactly happened, justice must be found for those 16 victims ," he said. Vučić.

And then, he added, we realized they weren't for justice when they started attacking the victims' father.

" Then, in all of this, we reached the point where our schooling and education were abolished. Our children today learn much less, know much less. With one year left until my last term, I do not understand parents who sacrifice their children's education for the sake of their own desires and demands ," he said.

The occupation's media platforms aim to destroy Serbia, and not only that, Vučić claims.

He added that "by chance we avoided a major tragedy" the other night in Novi Sad, stating that even the leader of the SNS, Miloš Vučević, could have died.

" You heard from the MPs of the invading media that the police were chasing journalists, which was a lie ," Vučić said of last night's events in Valjevo.

" The question of the day is when will they kill someone. This is the only thing left, they have done everything else, the only thing left is to kill openly in the streets ," Vučić said.

What happened in Valjevo and Novi Sad - pure terrorism, declared the President of Serbia.

" Dear citizens, you will see unexpected decisions in the next three or four days, and after that, decisive actions. It will seem to you that we have found refuge, and after that we will use everything at our disposal to bring peace and order. We will resist all external pressures, anyone who threatens us and tells us what we can and cannot do, and so far we have seen that they have contributed to bringing chaos ," he stressed. /Danas
