The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has reacted after the recent developments in Russia, where the Wagner group has rebelled against the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, seeking to overthrow the latter from power.
Zelensky said that these events clearly show the weakness of Russia as a state and its leadership. According to the Ukrainian president, the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on Ukrainian soil, the more chaos, pain and problems there will be for it as a state.
"Whoever chooses the path of evil destroys himself. Who sends columns of troops to destroy the life of another country and cannot stop them from fleeing and betraying when life resists. Who terrorizes with missiles, and when they fall, humiliates himself to take Shahed drones. Who despises the people and throws hundreds of thousands into the war, in order to eventually barricade himself in the Moscow region from those he himself armed. For a long time, Russia used propaganda to mask its weakness and the stupidity of its government. And now there is so much chaos that no lie can hide it. And all this is a person, who again and again scares the year 1917, although he can not result in anything other than this.
Russia's weakness is obvious. Full scale weakness. And the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on our soil, the more chaos, pain and trouble it will have for itself later. It is also clear. Ukraine is able to protect Europe from the spread of Russian evil and chaos. We maintain our stability, unity and strength. All our commanders, all our soldiers know what to do. Glory to Ukraine!” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.
