More than 30,000 people have been killed in Israel's attacks on Palestine's Gaza in just 5 months, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirms.
"The number of martyrs exceeds 30,000", says the ministry's statement. According to them, this figure includes at least 79 murders reported during the night.
This staggering number of killings since October 7 means that more than 1% of the enclave's pre-war population of 2.3 million people have been killed.
According to the UN, the Israeli offensive has destroyed 60 percent of Gaza's infrastructure and left 85 percent of the enclave's population internally displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine.
