As Russian military aggression against Ukraine continues since February of last year, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg has asserted that the counteroffensive has progressed well.
"Ukraine is gradually gaining ground, which means it's pushing the Russians back," he said in an interview with CNN, adding that Kiev has exceeded expectations.
"It is even more important to support them now," the NATO chief stressed, recalling the time when experts believed that Ukraine would hold out for only a few days.
"But instead, they liberated many territories, Kiev, Kharkiv, Kherson, and they are making great strides," Stoltenberg stressed.
Ukraine has even been able to hit some targets inside the territory of Russia with a drone. Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that the war is returning to the territory of Russia, considering this very fair.
The latest attack reported Wednesday morning by Kremlin officials involved 6 regions, including Moscow.
