The United States and Israel are intensifying preparations for a new wave of attacks on Iran, just weeks after a ceasefire was reached last month. According to The New York Times, both countries aim to be ready for military action as early as next week.
Several operational scenarios are reportedly on the table. One would involve sending forces to the ground to secure and extract Iranian nuclear material hidden under the rubble. However, military officials have warned that such an operation would require thousands of support troops and a large security perimeter.
Another option being considered by Washington involves more intensive bombing of Iranian military targets and strategic infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reports that Tel Aviv is preparing for the imminent resumption of war with Iran. Israel's Channel 12 stated that military structures have been put on alert for a possible escalation of the conflict.
US President Donald Trump also confirmed tensions with Tehran, revealing that he had rejected the latest peace proposal from Iran.
"If I don't like the first sentence, I just reject it... it was an unacceptable sentence," he told reporters.
