French President Emmanuel Macron has held a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin. The French leader has warned that "the security of Europe and the French is at risk" and if Russia wins the war, Europe's credibility will "drop to zero".
Ukraine is threatened by a lack of weapons, while Germany remains the main European source of military aid to Ukraine. The German chancellor has been under pressure to expand his government's aid, as even $60 billion in aid from the United States of America has been blocked by the Republican Congress.
"True solidarity for Ukraine? Fewer words, more ammunition", Tusku wrote on social networks on Friday.
This meeting came after Russia's attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa, where at least 14 people were killed and 46 others were injured, including medical staff.
Macron has warned that Russia is aiming to expand its power and will not stop now.
"If we leave Ukraine alone in the war, its loss will also threaten Moldova, Romania and Poland," he said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social networks that he told the German leader that Ukraine's priorities were "armored vehicles, artillery and air defense". According to him, the reason why Russia has recently advanced on the battlefield has been the lack of ammunition, and he has called on NATO allies to supply Ukraine with what it needs.
