The Greek Foreign Minister, George Gerapetritis, will visit Ankara on September 5. Gerapetritis arrives in Turkey at the invitation of the Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
"The two ministers will discuss bilateral relations and regional issues," said the statement quoted by Hurriyet.
Ankara and Athens have recently committed to improving ties and deepening bilateral cooperation.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Vilnius in July, where they agreed to hold the Turkish-Greek high-level cooperation meeting in Thessaloniki in October.
In Ankara, the two ministers are expected to discuss preparations for the cooperation meeting, which will include all bilateral economic, trade, transport, energy and other aspects.
Turkey and Greece have long had disputes over maritime borders in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean. With the normalization of relations, both sides have begun to emphasize the need for dialogue for their solution.
Fidani and Gerapetritis are expected to highlight these issues during their meeting. The Cyprus problem and other regional issues, especially the ongoing Russian occupation of Ukraine will also be on their agenda.
Relations between the two countries took a positive turn after the aid that Greece sent to Turkey after the devastating earthquakes of February.
