A terrorist attack occurred in Australia, on Bondi Beach, where two gunmen opened fire on crowds, causing at least 12 deaths and around 30 injuries.
One of the gunmen is among the victims, according to police. Two officers are also among the wounded.
Recently, new footage has been released about what happened, including a video showing a civilian, who is considered a hero, disarming one of the terrorists.
From the published videos, the civilian goes after the terrorist, fights for a few seconds and manages to grab the weapon.
The incredible footage shows the man, wearing a light blue shirt and black trousers, sitting behind a parked vehicle next to the gunman, who is facing him and firing his weapon.
Immediately after the gunman shoots, the man in the blue shirt comes up from behind, grabs him by the neck, and tries to grab his firearm.
The person recording the moments takes a deep breath and shouts "oh my God," as the man in the blue shirt snatches the gun from the shooter's hands and pushes the gunman to the ground.
Then he turns the gun and points it at the shooter, who drops to his knees and turns to look at the man in the blue shirt.
Gunshots can be heard throughout the video, apparently from a second person shooting from a nearby bridge.
Another bystander records the incident from a slightly different angle, showing another person wearing a red T-shirt running towards the man in the blue T-shirt, apparently to help, while a woman screams in the background, "no."
The man in the blue shirt approaches the person who has already shot the disarmed man with the gun pointed at him, while the second person falls to the ground.
The shooter stands up and attempts to walk away, turning to look briefly at the man in the blue shirt who is still pointing the gun at him.
The character who fired the gun appears to be wearing some kind of vest and has a bag slung over his shoulders.
The man in the blue shirt raises his hand, as if to show triumph, before placing his gun on a tree.
The shooter, who has stopped behind a metal pole, continues to stare at the man in the blue shirt.
Surprisingly, a second person, who also appears to be a civilian, runs towards the gunfire towards the shooter, now unarmed, and throws an object at him.
The view then shifts to the bridge to show the second person continuing to shoot as he ducks for cover as another gunshot is heard.
