Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived at the White House. He was welcomed by President Donald Trump. Zelensky arrived about 15 minutes late, causing the scheduled time on the agenda to be pushed back.
It is expected that they will first shake hands in front of the media, while 15 minutes later the official meeting will begin, which will last approximately 1 hour.
According to the agenda, at 8:15 p.m. Trump will greet European leaders in the State Dining Room. At 8:30 p.m., the joint family photo will be taken. And at 9:00 p.m., President Trump will meet with European leaders in the East Room.
The meeting comes after the Alaska Summit where Trump and Putin reached a kind of agreement on peace in Ukraine. Trump will put Putin's concessions on the table to Zelensky and try to convince him to accept. We will have to wait until the end to see if there is a consensus.
