The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has stated that Ukraine may disappear as a state after the conflict with Russia.
He wrote this in an article published on the website on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the occupation of South Ossetia by Georgia and Russia.
"It is already clear how it will end: Kiev will suffer a shameful defeat, just like the Georgian aggressors. The Ukrainian state will probably disappear from the political map of the world," Medvedev said.
In recent months, Kiev has launched dozens of drones to attack Moscow. An explosion occurred in a neighborhood of the Russian capital by three Ukrainian drones.
A little while ago, an order was given by the Kremlin to close all Moscow airports.
The Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, wrote on his Telegram channel, explaining where the three Ukrainian drones fell.
"Last night, air defense shot down a drone in the Mozhaisk district of the Moscow region. The second drone hit a building that was under construction. Emergency services are on the ground. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. The third drone in the port city of Izmail," said Sergei.
