An unusual situation occurred in Sweden today, just minutes after the official introduction of the new Minister of Health, Elisabeth Lann.
During a press conference in the presence of Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and cabinet members, Lann lost consciousness and fell, hitting his head on the podium.
Footage of the incident spread rapidly in Swedish media, leaving those present shocked.

According to the Swedish Special Prosecution Office, security guards intervened immediately, while the leader of the Christian Democratic Party, Ebba Busch, and several other members of the government rushed to help the minister.
After several minutes of tension, Elisabeth Lann was escorted out of the hall, while the press conference was canceled.
"The situation looks very serious. It fell right in front of me," said a journalist who was in the hall.
A little later, the minister returned to the hall smiling, calming the audience. “It wasn’t a normal Tuesday, but that can happen when you have low blood sugar,” she said.
Although no serious injuries were reported, it is not yet known whether the minister has sought further medical treatment.
Elisabeth Lann, a member of the Christian Democratic Party and a former city councilor in Gothenburg, took over as Health Minister on Tuesday, following the sudden resignation of former Minister Ako Ankarberg Johansson the day before.
