Footage of the Israeli attack on Qatar has been released. About ten Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets carried out a rapid and coordinated airstrike on Doha, dropping over ten bombs in short intervals. The attack lasted only a few minutes, but was enough to cause panic in the city and ignite a new international crisis.
The rockets all hit a building where Hamas leaders are believed to have gathered within seconds. Several aerial refuelings were carried out en route to the attack and on the way back to Israel.
According to Israeli media, the main target was Hamas's leadership in exile, including the organization's top political and negotiating figures.

In its official statement, the Israeli military confirmed that, in cooperation with the Shin Bet internal security service, it had carried out a “targeted attack against the senior leadership of Hamas.” Without providing full details on the location, Tel Aviv presented the strike as part of a campaign to “neutralize Hamas’s political command.”
Israeli television Channel 12 reported that the main target was Khalil al-Hayya, Hamas's political leader in Gaza and the group's chief negotiator. In addition to him, other prominent figures at the meeting were reportedly Mohammed Darwish; Mousa Abu Marzouk; Husam Badran and Taher al-Nunu.
According to Arab sources, the group had gathered to review a draft ceasefire agreement proposed last week by US special envoy Steve Witkoff.
