Moscow has officially confirmed that Wagner group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was on board the plane that crashed today.
He was on the passenger list, while official confirmation has now come from the Russian Civil Aviation Authority. According to him, Yevgeny Prigozhin and Wagner commander Dmitry Utkin were both on board the flight and their bodies were found dead.
Meanwhile, the Federal Air Transport Agency has published a list of passengers on board the crashed plane.
On board were reportedly: Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner Group; Dmitry Utkin, his right-hand man; Sergei Propustin; Yevgeny Makaryan; Alexander Totmin; Valeriy Chekalov and Nikolai Matuseev.
While the crew members were: Aleksei Levshin, commander; Rustam Karimov, co-pilot; Kristina Raspopova, stewardess .
Likewise, the Russian State Television announced directly the death of the founder and leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
" The leader of the Wagner group was on board the plane from Moscow to St. Petersburg that crashed, killing ten ," reported 'Rossija 24'.
Also, a page on Telegram linked to Yevgeny Prigozhin states that he was among the passengers of the plane.

The accident happened around 18:00 local time of Russia. The plane crashed in the north of Moscow, while it is not known what are the reasons that caused it to crash. The suspicions are that it was an elimination by Putin, as a sign of revenge for the June rebellion. But there were also skeptics that maybe he is not dead and there was a plan to take him out of circulation.
