The injured, Renato Leka, is under the care of doctors.
Police have provided official details regarding the knife attack recorded this afternoon in the Shëngjin area, where a 30-year-old man was injured.
According to the announcement from the blue uniforms, at around 16:20, a notification was received that citizen Renato Leka, around 30 years old, had presented himself for medical assistance at the Lezha Regional Hospital, who is suspected of having been injured with a cutting tool (knife) in his hand.
The injured man, Leka, is under the care of doctors and, according to the police, his life is out of danger.
Immediately after receiving the notification, a special investigative group was established, which is carrying out actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify and capture the suspected perpetrator or perpetrators.
So far, police have not revealed the motives for the injury, while investigations continue.
