After a winter with unusual temperatures, Italy has to face bad weather again.
Numerous landslides have hit Liguria, which is under water, while in Veneto the meteorological situation has worsened.
As a result, the Milan-Venice railway line has been suspended. Traffic remains suspended between Vicenza and Padua due to critical weather conditions that are causing the risk of flooding in some rivers.
High-speed and Euronight trains may be canceled and re-routed on alternative routes with a longer journey time of up to 150 minutes. Regional trains may be subject to route restrictions and cancellations.
At least until 12 noon, Frecciarossa trains are expected to run on alternative routes, causing delays.
