Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted an official dinner at the Presidential Palace in Ankara in honor of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, following their meeting in the Turkish capital.
According to information from Greek media, the menu included traditional Turkish dishes. The dinner began with artichokes with curry sauce, traditional meatballs, tulum cheese and butter.
Then, eggplant, chestnut-stuffed cabbage, “piruhi” with butter, “kes” cheese, salad with walnuts and Aegean herbs, as well as garden salad with purslane and lemon-flavored dressing were served.
Main courses included beef ribs accompanied by saffron pilaf, almonds and grilled asparagus. The menu also included Urfa kebab and lamb ribs.
For dessert, bitter almond and pineapple parfait was served, accompanied by seasonal fruits, as well as a selection of traditional Turkish sweets, including baklava with walnuts, pistachios, and muhalebi.
The dinner took place as part of Mitsotakis' visit to Ankara for the meeting of the High Cooperation Council between Greece and Turkey.
