Former intelligence officers claim Russia has a network of agents in the UK who lurk in the suburbs and can kill on a warrant.
Russian agents have been instructed to integrate into British society in an effort to avoid being identified.
They are allegedly helping to facilitate espionage activities. Former British military intelligence officer Col. Philip Ingram MBE told The Sun Online that there could be thousands of such agents operating in the United Kingdom, foreign media write.
The case was published a few days after three suspected spies for Russia in Britain were arrested, as part of a major national security investigation. It is about the persons identified as Orlin Roussev, 45 years old, Bizer Dzhambazov, 41 years old, and Katrin Ivanova, 31 years old.
