Ukraine has expressed its readiness to offer its assistance following power outages in Spain and Portugal.
As major power outages hit Spain and Portugal, Ukraine's Energy Minister German Galushchenko has offered his country's support in dealing with the crisis.
This is because Ukraine is a country that knows how to deal with power outages, doing so routinely since Russia's full invasion in 2022 and its subsequent attacks on the country's energy infrastructure.
Posting on X, German Galushchenko said that Ukraine was "ready to help restore the stable operation of the energy networks of our partners and allies in Europe."
"We are ready to share knowledge and experience, including those gained during the systematic Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. We are grateful to EU countries for their support and are always here to provide assistance ," he said.
