A US Secret Service vehicle has caught fire outside the White House, causing road closures ahead of a visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The car was engulfed in flames in the backseat, but fortunately no injuries were reported. White House correspondent for “Just the News,” Amanda Head, confirmed the incident as an eyewitness.
The vehicle was located at the corner of 18th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. This incident does not affect the meeting between the Israeli prime minister and the US president, as we are only dealing with a defect.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived at the White House. Donald Trump greeted him with a smile and a handshake.
When reporters asked him if there would be peace in Gaza soon, Trump nodded and appeared to be responding, but it was unclear what he was saying.
