Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of continuing what he calls "air terror" against Ukraine.
He stated that "if you want talks, you shouldn't hit people with ballistic missiles." Zelensky added that he wants this war to end an hour earlier.
"To stop Russia from attacking, the world must be more united and stronger. Ukraine is fighting for a normal and safe life, which it deserves, for peace – just and sustainable. We want this war to end. But Russia does not want this and continues its aerial terror. Over the past week, over 1,050 attack drones, nearly 1,300 bombs and more than 20 missiles have been launched against Ukraine to destroy cities and kill people," Zelensky said.
According to authorities, two people have been killed and three others injured by Russian attacks in the Donetsk region over the past 24 hours, causing the destruction of dozens of homes.
In an update, they also report that five people have been killed in the southern Kherson region and 13 others have been injured, including three police officers who were evacuating the body of a 63-year-old man killed by a drone strike.
