Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has thanked US President Donald Trump for "standing shoulder to shoulder with us" in Israel's confrontation with Iran.
In a video message distributed by his office, Netanyahu expressed gratitude for "the support the US is giving us to protect Israel's skies."
He said he has been in regular communication with Trump, including a "very cordial conversation" they had last night.
"I want to thank President Trump for his support," Netanyahu said, stressing that Israel is "hitting the ayatollahs' regime hard" through attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, missiles and "symbolism of power."
Meanwhile, President Trump has refused to say whether he has made a decision on US military intervention against Iran.
