Following US President Donald Trump's statement regarding the resumption of arms supplies to Ukraine, media reports are circulating about some of the weapons systems that could arrive in Kiev.
Patriot: Return of anti-aircraft missiles
MiM-104 "Patriot" air defense missiles, in the Pac-2 version, will certainly be present, as mentioned by Trump himself during the summit meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

These missiles have already been delivered and used in the conflict, transferred from several European countries that already had them in service, such as Germany.
Tomahawk and AGM-158
The White House has dismissed the possibility of supplying land-based Tomahawk cruise missiles and air-launched AGM-158 cruise missiles, but it is likely, at least as far as the Tomahawks are concerned, that this is just a bidding game to convince Moscow to rely on more moderate advice.

Himars, Harm missiles and new air-to-air weapons
It is more likely that supplies of Himar missiles will resume: as we know, this is a mobile multiple rocket launcher, equipped with precision missiles that can hit targets up to 70 kilometers away.

It is believed that the US will also resume supplies of missiles for air defense suppression (Harm missiles) and for air-to-air operations, such as the Sidewinder, which Ukraine has successfully used, including mounted on naval drones, to strike and shoot down Russian fighters over the Black Sea.
Howitzers and light vehicles: artillery and infantry
They are likely to return to supplying artillery shells, and perhaps even M-777 howitzers, as Ukrainian artillery has been put under pressure during these months of the Russian offensive.

Staying on the issue of missiles, the Ukrainians could also be supplied with ATACMs, short-range ballistic missiles or theater missiles, which have already been used with considerable success by the Kiev army in this conflict. We would rule out the possibility of revising the supply of tanks, after the single shipment of about 30 M1 Abrams, which apparently have not proven their capabilities on the Ukrainian battlefield.

We will most likely see some infantry fighting vehicles like the Stryker and light vehicles like the Humvee.
The arms package, according to what has been published so far, is expected to be worth around $10 billion, or roughly a third of the $28 billion in USAID funds remaining for Ukraine after it closed in March. /Adapted from “Il Giornale”
