An unusual event happened in Italy. Family members in a church in Milan were waiting for the body of their relative who died in tragic circumstances, but after a long wait the burial was postponed. The car carrying the coffin never arrived, as it got stuck in the snow and its driver almost met a tragic end.
Manuela Spargi died on January 2 after her car ended up in the lake in Piona. After the examinations, the body was taken from the morgue and was to be taken to the church for the funeral.
Due to a possible navigator error, the 37-year-old driver of the hearse, instead of taking the highway to Milan, headed for a mountain road usually closed in winter that leads to the Dordona pass. Stranded by the storm and unable to use his cell phone because there was no signal, he left the vehicle and walked nearly ten kilometers until he reached a shelter where he was finally able to call for help.
Then the emergency teams intervened with snowmobiles and found the car covered in snow, where if the driver had been there, he would most likely have died from the cold. The team "rescued" the dead man who was left there after several hours of searching.
