Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected Vladimir Putin's invitation and challenge for the first time to travel to Moscow for a face-to-face meeting.
During an interview, Zelensky stated that if there was anything, the Kremlin leader could "come to Kiev."
"Putin can come to Kiev. I can't go to Moscow when my country is under missile attack every day. I can't go to the capital of this terrorist. Putin understands this," Zelensky said.
A day earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin asked his counterpart Zelensky to go to Moscow for peace talks, claiming that he would provide security for the Ukrainian leader.
