The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, declared that he is not afraid of the threats addressed to him by the representatives of the opposition and that he will never hide because, as he said, he was elected by the people.
The Serbian president's statement comes after Zdravko Ponosh, a candidate from the "Serbia Against Violence" list, said that "Vučić does not have much left and will end up in the abyss".
Vucic said that he hears it every day and that he understands them and that it is not clear what they are threatening him with.
"Even that evening I was in the Presidency, I left the Presidency earlier and I came when I heard that they were protesting 50 meters away. And every time I am in the Presidency and when they have surrounded it, I have been there. They talk about a secret passage and that I passed there, it exists, but I have never seen it", he emphasized.
He emphasized that he will never hide, because he was elected by the people to make difficult decisions.
"Such as the countless decisions about the Republic of Kosovo, which no one can like. But, you know, you have to protect the country on the one hand from sanctions, on the other hand protect its national interests and state", said Vucic.
