The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, has informed Europe that it must face Russia with the logic of the time of war and not with a Western-style communication.
Orban, a close ally of Vladimir Putin, stressed in an interview with Hungarian state radio that Putin's warnings should be taken very seriously.
"When we are dealing with a country like Russia, which is fundamentally different from us and bases its policies mainly on military power, its position in the world and its vision for the future are largely determined by the fact that it possesses a of the strongest armies in the world and is equipped with the most advanced and destructive weapons.
I believe that in the next two months, we Europeans should not base our approach on the rules of Western European-style communication policies, but on a wartime logic. We must proceed carefully, weighing each sentence and word according to common principles. Otherwise, we will see what will happen," Orban said.
