Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has been admitted to a military hospital, while details about the causes of his illness will be published in the coming days, the source of the Russian agency TASS said.
"He is in a military hospital. In the coming days we will learn details about his health," the agency's interlocutor said.
"Due to health problems, Vučić was forced to cut short his visit to the United States of America and arrived in Belgrade, where he turned to the Military Medical Academy for help," TASS reports.
The Serbian president said he intends to attend the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9, unless "something happens to him or there is an extraordinary threat to Serbia," according to local media.
The Russian news agency RIA Novosti also wrote about Vučić and his sudden "illness", which even featured two news stories on the front page related to Vučić and his sudden return from the US "because he fell ill".
