Hamas official, Ghazi Hamad, that Hamas wants to "stop the war and aggression" against the Palestinian people, after the two-day extension of the ceasefire.
" I hope we can last until we reach the end of this war and aggression against our people in Gaza. I think there is great support throughout the Qatari government and the Egyptian government, even Western governments, they want a ceasefire, " Hamad said, Al Jazeera reports.
He stressed that he hoped to see pressure from the international community on Israel to end its occupation and "end this catastrophe" against the Palestinians.
Both the UN and NATO have expressed the same opinion about achieving peace between countries. Both organizations have called for a general ceasefire and the start of peace talks.
