One of the 13 Israeli women who were released by Hamas yesterday revealed that they did not know they were being released until they saw the Red Cross.
72-year-old Adina Moshe met with her relatives, who told them that Hamas never told them they were being released, so they thought they were going to be executed!
"We thought we were being taken for execution until we saw Red Cross buses outside the Gaza tunnels. They terrorized us until the end", said the 72-year-old woman.
"She knew something was up since the bombing had stopped on Friday. Suddenly there was a deathly silence. They took the hostages in a tunnel and panicked. They thought they were going to kill them until they saw the Red Cross and realized they were being released," her granddaughter, Mayan Moshe, 43, told The Times.
For 50 days, Adina and the rest of the hostages were in the dark in the tunnels, so today they are trying to get used to the light, on the first day after the kidnapping by Hamas on October 27.
Hamas during the attack on Israel took 240 hostages, whose release was used to reach a temporary ceasefire agreement between the two sides and the release of some Palestinians imprisoned in Israel.
