Alex Bruesewitz, one of the strategists of Donald Trump's successful campaign in the last presidential election, passed out on the podium while giving a speech in New York on Sunday (December 16th).
The 27-year-old, who is credited with reviving Trump's image among young Americans, was giving a speech at a gala evening before the Young Republicans when he suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed on the podium.
As can be seen from the footage, Bruesewitz began to have difficulty speaking, and at one point he is heard saying, "I'm forgetting words." A few seconds later, he falls from the podium, while bystanders rush to his aid.
Bruesewitz is chief executive of X Strategies, a political and corporate consulting firm. He was subcontracted by Donald Trump's campaign managers in the summer to help increase the campaign's impact among young Americans and was later credited as the person who made Donald Trump 'cool' again among young voters.
