The German MEP from among the Greens, Reinhard Butikofer, reacted to the statement of the spokesperson of the EU for Foreign Policy, Peter Stano, who said that the EU is impartial and helps both sides to reach the necessary compromises to normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
In a tweet, Butikofer demands that the European Parliament hold the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Jose Borrell, accountable for a totally failed policy that is very one-sided and unfair.
"Every criticism of Stano is followed by the voice of Josep Borrell, who must be held responsible by the European Parliament for a completely failed, very one-sided and unfair policy: the authoritarian Serbian government he supports and Kosovo he criticizes and sanctions", Bütikofer wrote on 'Twitter'.
In the past, the German MEP from the ranks of the Greens, Reinhard Bütikofer, has also defended Kosovo and has been in favor of visa liberalization for Kosovo.
