A boat with immigrants sinks in the English Channel, several people are sent to the hospital

Several people have been taken to hospital after a boat carrying migrants capsized in the English Channel.

A number of people were seen being taken out of a lifeboat on stretchers in Dover.

It is not yet known how serious their injuries are. The Home Office and Coastguard have been contacted for comment.
