Students in Serbia have announced that they will hold a protest tomorrow, June 28, regarding dissatisfaction with the socio-political situation.
Analyst Ardita Behluli, invited to 'Sot Live in Albania', said that according to the organizers, this will be the largest rally held in Belgrade.
Meanwhile, President Aleksandar Vučić has stated that those protesting do not have Serbia's best interests at heart.
"A large protest has been announced tomorrow. Students are demanding early elections. Vučić has rejected their demands and accused the protesters of inciting violence."
"Vučić says that the country does not have the conditions to hold new elections, and he even says that those who protest do not want the best for the country," Behluli told Report TV.
The analyst further added that arrests will continue in Serbia for those who disturb the peace in the country.
What to expect on June 28?
The protesting students stated in an open letter that a large number of disgruntled citizens are expected to participate in the rally. They said they cannot predict the citizens' further steps after the official end of the rally.
The last major protest, organized by these students, was held on March 15, when in the late evening hours, after several minor incidents, it was declared over, so that the situation would not escalate.
The informal organization Archive of Public Gatherings, which estimates the size of gatherings in Serbia, estimated that between 275,000 and 325,000 people participated in the protest in Belgrade on March 15, noting that the number may have been even higher.
