The student blockade of Radio Television of Serbia, which began last night at 11:00 PM, is still ongoing. The siege, as announced, is expected to last 23 hours, until 10:00 PM tonight.
Student guards have been stationed in front of the RTS entrance in Takovska, and a tent has also been erected.
They claim the broadcaster is siding with President Aleksandar Vučić and the government. The president was a guest on the prime-time news program on Monday. He threatened that security forces would use violence during Saturday’s protests and said he would not resign over the protests. The journalist called the protesting students a “mob,” something the president appeared to agree with, Serbian media reported.

Meanwhile, residents of surrounding buildings brought food, soft drinks and coffee. The students said they had no intention of joining RTS, but that their action would draw everyone's attention to the public service's reporting, with which they were not satisfied.
Police entered the RTS building last night around 11:00 PM and there were several confrontations between the police and the crowd.
Students of the University of Novi Sad, who are blocking their faculties, gathered last night in front of Radio Television Vojvodina to support their colleagues in Belgrade.
Citizens gathered last night in front of Radio Television Kragujevac to support students and citizens in Belgrade.

The students stated in an Instagram post that all employees will be allowed to leave, but no one will enter until "RTS is liberated."
A Euronews journalist in Serbia reported that this morning in front of the RTS building in Belgrade, the situation was relatively calm, except for the sounds of whistles and horns from passing drivers.
Several students addressed the crowd and emphasized that they were supported by some RTS employees and that they were told to remain persistent in their actions.

The protesters said they would remain steadfast until 10 p.m.
