Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the virtual summit of the leaders of the group of 20 most industrialized countries in the world (G20). This meeting will be held on November 29.
"Vladimir Putin will participate in the G20 virtual summit," Russian media reported.
Putin has not traveled to the last two G20 meetings – in September in India and last year in Indonesia – sending Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on his behalf.
Putin has made only a few trips abroad since the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant in connection with the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children as Russia's occupation of Ukraine continues.
The G20 consists of the 19 countries that have the largest economies in the world including the European Union and the African Union. /REL
