Talat Xhaferi, who until now has held the position of Speaker of the Parliament, has been elected as the technical prime minister of North Macedonia for 100 days.
Hritjan Mickoski's VMRO-DPMNE is clearly against the election of Talat Xhaferi as Technical Prime Minister of North Macedonia, just as it was against when Talat Xhaferi became the Speaker of the Macedonian Parliament.
The left, known as "Levica", the extreme Macedonian nationalist party headed by Dimitar Apasievi, also did not vote for Speaker of the Parliament and will not vote for Prime Minister Talat Xhafer today either.
On the other hand, the Albanian opposition, i.e. Lévizja Besa, Alternativa and Lévizja Democratice of Izet Mejhiti have declared that they will not vote for the first Albanian prime minister in North Macedonia.
Their reasons are different, however, Talat Xhaferi will not take their trust.
Members of the opposition in parliament, who will not vote for Talat Xhaferin for prime minister, are:
Fadil Zendeli, Izet Mejhiti, Merita Koxhaxhiku, Kastriot Rexhepi, Afrim Gashi and Safije Sadiku Shahini.
