They had participated in the January 2026 uprising, accused of "moharebeh" and "corruption on earth" in a show trial by the hated judge, Abolghasem Salavati.
Ms. Maryam Rajavi: The execution of rebellious youth and PMOI members shows the regime's fear of uprising and is a clear statement that its main enemy is the Iranian people and the Resistance.
Call on the international community to condemn the ongoing executions and adopt practical measures by the UN Security Council to save the lives of prisoners.
At dawn on Sunday, April 5, two brave young rebels, Shahin Vahedparast, 31, and Mohammad-Amin Biglari, 19, who were among the youth who led the January uprising, were executed and hanged by the executioners of the mullahs' regime on charges of "moharebeh" (war against God) and "corruption on earth."
On Tuesday, March 31, Mohammad-Amin Biglari and Shahin Vahedparast, along with three other young rebels, Amirhossein Hatami, Abolfazl Salehi, and Ali Fahim, were transferred to solitary confinement at Ghezel Hesar Prison in preparation for their executions. 18-year-old Amirhossein was hanged on Friday, April 2.
These young rebels were sentenced to death by Branch 15 of Tehran's Revolutionary Court, headed by the cruel executioner Abolqasem Salavati, and their sentences were approved by Branch 9 of the Supreme Court of the regime's judicial system.
Ms. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), described the brutal executions of the brave young rebels Mohammad-Amin Biglari and Shahin Vahedparast as a sign of the mullahs’ regime’s desperation in the face of an angry people, as well as its fear of escalating the uprising and overthrowing the system. She said that the serial executions of heroic PMOI members and young rebels in the midst of an external war are a clear statement that the regime’s main enemy is the Iranian people and the Resistance. She added that this irresponsible bloodshed will not go unanswered by the freedom fighters and young rebels, who will forever uproot the religious dictatorship from the soil of Iran.
Ms. Rajavi once again called on the international community to condemn the ongoing executions and demanded urgent and binding decisions by the United Nations Security Council to stop these criminal acts. She called for immediate action to save the lives of imprisoned PMOI members, activists, and rebellious youth who are at risk of execution across Iran.
