The balance of victims in Israel is heavy, over 150 killed and 1,100 wounded; the attacks still continue

The death toll caused by the Palestinian attack on Gaza has risen again, with local media reporting at least 150 dead and more than 1,100 people injured.

Meanwhile, Palestinian officials in the Gaza Strip report that at least 198 Palestinians have died following retaliatory Israeli airstrikes, while at least 1,610 have been injured.

The balance of casualties on both sides is expected to rise further, with attacks continuing from one side to the other. According to reports, Israeli jets have bombed the house of the head of Hamas in Gaza, Yehya Al-Sinwar.

Numerous calls for peace and the reduction of tensions between Israel and Palestine have arrived from every corner of the world. Turkey has also expressed its willingness to mediate between the parties.
