Footage of the assassination of Slovak Prime Minister Roberto Fico is published.
The latter was shot after a government meeting by a citizen who was in the middle of the crowd. It is learned that he first called them: "Robert, come here". He then pulls out his gun and shoots him.

The author has handed himself over to the police, while the prime minister is in critical condition in the hospital. He received wounds on his body and abdomen, while he was transported by helicopter to the nearby town of Banska Bystrica.
According to local media, the author was identified as Juraj Cintula, a well-known writer in Slovakia. Juraj Cintula, 71, is from Levice. Born in 1953, he is one of the founders of the DÚHA Literary Club in 2005.
He wrote three poetry collections. Since 2015, he is a member of the Slovak Writers' Association.
The incident reportedly took place after a government meeting in the central Slovakian town of Hadlova, about 180 kilometers outside Bratislava, after Slovak Prime Minister Roberto Fico walked into the crowd and shook hands with them.
The Prime Minister was shot in the stomach and chest and was taken by helicopter to the hospital where he is undergoing an operation. But he is in danger of death due to his injuries.
