The eastern Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk, part of the Poltava region, was attacked yesterday evening by Russian missiles.
Several Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and dozens of Russian drones were launched into the city, which is located about 250 kilometers southeast of the capital Kiev. Mayor Vitaliy Maletsky reported that electricity, water and heating supplies were disrupted in some areas and that personnel were working to restore the outages.
"Another massive combined attack on Kremenchuk's infrastructure" has caused "power, water and heating outages in some areas of the city," the mayor said on Telegram. "All city services are working around the clock to restore critical systems as soon as possible," he added.
Meanwhile, Moscow claimed that air defenses intercepted and destroyed 77 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions yesterday evening. Local authorities in Rostov Oblast reported that energy infrastructure was damaged due to attacks ordered by Kiev.
