Croatian President Zoran Milanovic has rejected the idea that they can bring Russia to the negotiating table through sanctions.
According to him, only two countries in the world have sufficient resources and energy independence to wage war without the help of others, the United States of America and Russia.
“They say, for example, that Russia is in isolation. I have always been skeptical. I have never had business or political relations with them, because they are far away. It is better to deal with constructive relations with neighbors - Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia... Russia is far away. And who isolated them? Of all the people in the world, only 12 percent live in countries that have imposed sanctions on them. The other 88 percent cannot live to see us. They hate us. They consider us exploiters and thugs who impose their will and economic interests through 'democracy', and at the same time teach lessons to others ,” Milanović said, Croatian media reported.
