President Donald Trump said the US has completely destroyed key Iranian nuclear sites, including the Natanz facility last summer.
But on Saturday, the country was hit again, Iranian state media reported.
Despite suffering heavy losses in the 12-day war of June 2025, analysis of satellite imagery shows that Iran has since rebuilt damaged missile facilities.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has indicated that enriched uranium may still remain at or near the site after Israel launched a surprise attack, along with the US, that destroyed parts of Tehran's nuclear program. There is evidence that some infrastructure near Natanz has remained undamaged.
According to a November assessment by the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), construction on a mountainous area south of the Natanz enrichment site, a site known as the Mountain of Daggers, also continued.
Mount Kazma includes underground tunnel complexes, including one intended for advanced centrifuge production, and was not visibly hit in June, according to ISIS.
The Israeli military said on Saturday that it was "not aware" of any Israeli attack on the Natanz facility.
According to international media, the US military had struck more than 8,000 military targets in Iran so far in the war.
