Since the launch of Hamas attacks on Israel, the US has expressed its full support to Tel Aviv and has announced that it will assist it by any means necessary.
But seeing that Israel was caught off guard by the attacks, the US has decided to move heavy artillery to Tel Aviv's aid.
The Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, stated earlier that the aid that will be sent is being discussed, but did not give any other details about what is being discussed.
But the US military plans to move navy ships and military aircraft closer to Israel, according to two US officials familiar with the matter. Officials say the moves would show a show of support, NBC reports.
According to them, the movement of ships will start immediately, but not all ships will be near Israel very soon, as some of them may take several days.
