Mojtaba Khamenei tops the wanted list; Washington also promises relocation for informants for security reasons
The United States has announced a reward offer for information that could lead to the identification or capture of some of the key figures in Iran's political leadership, with Mojtaba Khamenei - the son of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei - at the top of the list.
The relevant service of the US Department of Justice, which manages reward programs for informants, published a message on social media requesting information from the public.
The published image features a direct question:
"Do you have information about these Iranian terrorist leaders? Submit information. You may be selected for reward and relocation."
According to the announcement, the use of the terms "reward" and "relocation" is intended to specifically encourage citizens within Iran to provide information.
The program provides for:
financial rewards that can reach up to 10 million dollars
relocation to another country for security reasons, to protect informants from possible reprisals by Iranian authorities.
US authorities emphasize that these measures will be implemented if the information provided proves reliable and useful for the investigations.
Got information on these Iranian terrorist leaders?
