The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) say they have carried out around 9,000 military strikes against targets in Iran and Lebanon since the start of the conflict two weeks ago.
According to the IDF's official update, around 7,600 strikes have been carried out on targets in Iran. Of these, around 4,700 have targeted the Iranian missile program, while over 2,000 have struck what the Israeli military describes as "headquarters and operational assets."
The IDF also reports that the Israeli Air Force has conducted more than 380 operational flights over Iranian airspace during this period.
At the same time, the Israeli military reports over 1,100 airstrikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon. According to the IDF, these operations have resulted in the deaths of more than 380 Hezbollah fighters.
The targets struck in Lebanon, according to the Israeli military, include about 190 targets linked to the Radwan Force, more than 200 missile systems and launchers, about 35 command and control centers, as well as about 80 high-rise buildings that, according to the IDF, were used by the organization.
On the other hand, Lebanese authorities have accused Israel of targeting civilian infrastructure on several occasions. According to them, one of the most recent attacks hit a university campus in Beirut, where two people were reported killed.
The parties' reports reflect different perspectives on the objectives and consequences of military operations in the region.
