US suspends intelligence sharing on Ukraine, France comes to Kiev's aid

A day after the United States announced the suspension of intelligence services with Ukraine, France has intervened to help Kiev.

Macron has pledged to provide Ukraine with military information after Washington announced it was suspending the exchange of information, which is of great importance for operations against Russian forces.

French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu said today that France is surpassing the intelligence of the Ukrainians themselves.

"Our intelligence services are sovereign... We use them for the good of Ukrainians," the French minister said.
