The expert on Balkan affairs, Janusz Bugajski, has commented on the allegations of involvement in corruption in connection with the dismissal of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and emissary for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.
In a reaction on his "X" account, Bugajski shared the article of journalist Vudi Xhymshiti where he reports that Escobar has been dismissed from his post as an envoy to the Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue.
He quipped that it's no wonder Vucic got a free ride from the Biden administration. Bugajski writes that it is time to appoint uncorrupted envoys who understand the Balkans and can deal with Russia and its representatives in Belgrade and Banja Luka.
