Iranian media reports several explosions at Juffair base, as authorities urge citizens to shelter
Several large explosions have been reported near the US Juffair military base in Bahrain, according to the Iranian state news agency Tasnim.
In a separate report on the Telegram platform, the same source announced that several powerful explosions were heard throughout the territory of this island state during the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Bahrain's Interior Ministry has urged citizens via social media to head to the nearest shelters, after warning sirens signaled possible attacks at the entrance.
The siren has been sounded. Citizens and residents are urged to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place.
